Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
RankFlow Digital Bangladesh (“RankFlow Digital”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information when you visit https://bangladesh.rankflowdigital.com/ (the “Site”), contact us, request a consultation or quotation, or otherwise communicate with us.
This policy applies to information processed through the Site. It does not govern the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that you may access through external links.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit a project enquiry or contact us, we may collect:
- your full name;
- email address;
- phone or WhatsApp number;
- company or business name;
- the service you are interested in;
- estimated budget and project timeline;
- preferred contact method;
- your current website URL;
- project requirements, goals and other information you include in your message; and
- your privacy-consent choice.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, private access credentials, national identification numbers, health information or other sensitive information through the contact form or ordinary email.
Technical and usage information
When you use the Site, our hosting, security, caching and web-server systems may automatically process limited technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security events. We use this information to deliver the Site, diagnose problems, prevent abuse and maintain security.
The native contact form uses a short-term rate-limiting record derived from a cryptographic hash of the submitting IP address. The raw address is not stored by the theme for this purpose, and the rate-limit record expires after approximately 15 minutes.
2. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- review and respond to enquiries;
- contact you using your preferred method;
- understand project requirements and prepare a consultation, proposal or quotation;
- provide requested web design, WordPress development, SEO or digital marketing services;
- maintain business communications and records;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Site;
- detect spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents;
- protect our rights, users and systems; and
- comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations.
We do not automatically reject an enquiry based on the budget selected in the contact form. We do not use the enquiry form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Grounds for processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a service agreement, because processing is necessary to perform an agreement, because you have provided consent, because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting the Site, or because processing is required by law.
You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal or information we must retain for another lawful reason.
4. Contact-form and email handling
The Site’s native contact form sends the enquiry to the configured business recipient and sends a confirmation to the email address supplied by the visitor. Native-form enquiry content is not saved as a submission record in the WordPress database.
Copies may remain in the sender’s and recipient’s email systems, mail-delivery logs, security systems and backups. If the Site later uses a third-party form plugin or customer-management system that stores submissions, this policy will be updated to describe that storage and its retention period.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may use cookies or similar local technologies that are necessary for WordPress administration, security, form protection, session handling, preferences, caching and reliable delivery. These technologies help the Site work correctly and protect it from abuse.
Analytics, advertising or marketing technologies will be used only when enabled by the site owner and subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law. If such tools are introduced, this policy and any cookie notice will be updated to identify the relevant purposes and providers. You can control many cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect Site functionality.
6. When we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to:
- website hosting, infrastructure, caching, security, backup and maintenance providers;
- email, SMTP or transactional-mail providers that deliver form notifications;
- professional advisers, contractors or service providers working under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations;
- authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law, court order or a valid legal process;
- protect the rights, safety and security of RankFlow Digital, our clients, visitors or systems; or
- support a genuine business reorganisation, merger, acquisition or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
External services linked from the Site, such as WhatsApp and social networks, process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you choose to use them. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
7. International processing
Some hosting, email, security, analytics or other technology providers may process information outside Bangladesh. Where cross-border processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to select reputable providers and use contractual, organisational or technical safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
8. How long we retain information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to the enquiry, preparing a quotation, maintaining a business relationship, resolving disputes, protecting the Site and meeting legal or accounting obligations.
Enquiry emails that do not result in an ongoing client relationship are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months after the last meaningful communication, unless a shorter period is appropriate or longer retention is required for a dispute, security investigation or legal obligation. Records relating to an active or completed client engagement may be kept for the contract period and any additional period required by applicable law. Server logs and backups are retained according to operational security and backup schedules and are restricted to authorised users and providers.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse. Measures used by the Site include encrypted HTTPS connections, input validation, output escaping, anti-spam controls, CSRF protection, rate limiting, restricted administrative access and controlled email headers.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You should avoid sending confidential credentials or payment information through ordinary web forms or email.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and any lawful exceptions, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
- provide access to or a copy of that information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete information that is no longer required;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing; or
- explain how your information has been used or shared.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or needed to protect the rights and security of others.
To submit a privacy request, use our Contact page and clearly state that your message is a privacy request.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site and our business services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. External links and embedded content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, portfolios, maps or other services. A link does not mean that we control or endorse the third party’s privacy practices. If embedded third-party content is introduced, it may collect technical information or set cookies under the provider’s own policy and any applicable consent controls.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology providers or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted through the Site or another appropriate communication.
